The marriage of Prince Harry & Meghan Markle perfectly personified the Special Relationship between America & Britain that Captain’s Knock celebrates. As soon as the wedding was announced everyone looked to us to deliver a spectacular event in-keeping with the occasion. We didn’t disappoint. Working with the British Consulate and with main sponsors Virgin Atlantic and BritBox (an ITV BBC collaboration) we curated a special invitation list of key influencers in the British and transatlantic community in NYC. With the main wedding ceremony at 7am ET we had over 300 guests by 6.30am. We arranged for the venue to close early on Friday to allow, BritBox, promoting their new streaming service, to set up a satellite link to broadcast the event live back to the ITV coverage in the UK which they were streaming across the US. Other local broadcasters also filmed from the event including, Reuters, Fox and NY1.
